AED saves life @ Gym in Tennessee

On Thursday, November 18th, a 70-year old man had a cardiac arrest while inside an athletic club in Germantown, Tennessee.  Quick thinking and action by the staff initiated 9-1-1, and began CPR.  They attached the AED and were able to deliver one shock before Emergency Services arrived.  The man is expected to make a full recovery.

It always makes my day to hear of someone else whose life has been saved by quick-thinking bystanders.  This is the reason we do what we do-so that a bystander will know how to help and be confident enough to respond.
